Are you interested in becoming involved in an enriching program over the summer?  Would you like to earn wages and work experience over the summer?  Would you like to meet and build networking relationships with professionals in corporate America?  If your answer to any of the above questions is yes, please read on.

Please allow us to introduce the St. Louis Internship Program (SLIP) to you.  The St. Louis Internship Program is a year-round program for high school sophomores and juniors that offer summer internship opportunities.  The mission of the St. Louis Internship Program is to provide hope, support, assistance and inspiration to high school students with financial and other needs so that they can obtain summer internships in professional settings and develop life skills necessary to expand their educational and employment opportunities.  SLIP provides an opportunity for current sophomores and juniors to have an enriching internship experience along with on-going career exposure and academic support.  To apply for the St. Louis Internship Program, students must:

  • be a St. Louis Public School District student
  • be a high school Sophomore/Junior
  • have at least a “C” average
  • be eligible for free or reduced lunch
  • have good citizenship
  • have good attendance
  • be committed to participating in all Program activities
